The club with the assistance of Big Al's Clubhouse at Mt Druitt will be holding a Benefit Night for the family of Elvis Barry Pinkerton on Saturday 13th November, which would have been his 62nd Birthday, all money raised at this night will be given to Elvis' family. The night will feature a number of Elvis Tribute artists who are donating there time for this event as well as a BBQ dinner which will be provided by Big Al's and the Fan Club. Sam Phillips Historical Marker: Sam Phillips hometown, Florence, Alabama. will unveil an historical marker and issue an official Sam Phillips special cancellation stamp at the post office. Phillips moved to Memphis from Florence. The historical marker will be unveiled during the Sam Phillips week from January 3-7, 2006.
